Abstract


The Paper offers an interesting insight on the relationship between the employee Psychological safety, employee performance and firm performance. In addition to that the study has examined the mediating role of employee task performance, and hedging behavior. The study is carried out on the sample of banking sector employees on Punjab province of Pakistan. We have conducted survey for collecting the data. The response rate for the present study is 67.74%. For this study we have adopted the PLS-SEM approach as it provides the reliable and accurate results. The findings of the present study are aligned with the proposed hypothesis. Such as employee psychological safety has significant impact on firm performance, task performance, helping behavior and employee performance. Task performance mediates between employee psychological safety, employee performance and, firm performance. Helping behavior mediates between employee psychological safety, employee performance and, firm performance. This study will be helpful for the researchers especially in the field of human resource. This study will be very helpful for the policy makers.
