Abstract

Purpose: To evaluate the results for the application of the perilesional HerberPAG on periocular basal cell carcinoma. Methods: An experimental investigation was carried out on a group of 7 patients who were given the same treatment regimen with HeberPAG® 10.5 × 106 UI 3 times a week for 3 consecutive weeks. Demographic variables where considered as well as time of evolution, initial injury size, clinical subtype, histological subtype, clinical response, objective response and adverse effects. Results: The average time of evolution of the injury was 7.0 ± 1.6 months, with a higher diameter medium of 17.4 ± 2.3 mm.
