CONTEMPLAÇÃO INTERPRETATIVA DAS CRIAÇÕES DAS PAISAGENS IMPRESSIONISTAS EM VERDE VAGOMUNDO: UMA APROXIMAÇÃO ENTRE BENEDICTO MONTEIRO, CLAUDE MONET E VAN GOGH

Abstract

This work has as an main objective to make a (comparative) interpretation between two landscape constructions contained in the novel Verde vagomundo, by Benedicto Monteiro (1992), and two paintings by Claude Monet (Matin sur la Seine, le beau temps and Impresion, sunrise) and one by Van Gogh (Self-portrait, 1887). For this, we will base ourselves in Argan (1992) and Hauser (1994), when discussing about the characteristic and, in a sense, philosophical aspects of Impressionism; in Sandanello (2014, 2016), referring the foundation about the literary impressionism (a relationship between aesthetics of Impressionism and the Literature); in Lanson (1909), in his study of the substance and adjective of the word in prose; and in Paes Loureiro (2001, 2015), when discussing about poetry as an eternal becoming and the fertility of the Amazon, the cradle of poeticity in his forest. Furthermore, we state that landscapes, both in paintings and in words, manifest the poetry embodied in poem paintings germinated by impression.
