UM OLHAR PARA A HISTÓRIA DO ENSINO DE MATEMÁTICA NO BRASIL: UMA PERCEPÇÃO NO AMAZONAS

 
 
 

Abstract


The text presented here highlights a small fragment of the history of mathematics education, highlighting its trajectory before and during its arrival in Brazil until it was present in Amazonas. In order to obtain the necessary subsidies for such writing, we did a bibliographic and documentary research and we also used interviews. This search showed us an interesting trajectory of Mathematics starting in Europe, passing through Brazil, but specifically in the southeast region, until reaching Amazonas. Here, in addition to the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), later the State University of Amazonas (UEA), other private institutions made possible, in a certain way, the development of this area of \u200b\u200bknowledge in our state and the training of Mathematics teachers.
