Abstract
Palavras-chave: Metodo do Gradiente Biconjugado Estabilizado. Abstract Parallelized implementation of the biconjugate gradiente stabilized method for the simulation of two-phase flow in oil reservoirs In this work, we have implemented a parallelized version of the Biconjugate Gradient Stabilized\xa0Method using the OpenMP API, which allowed simultaneous use of threads to execute tasks, in\xa0shared memory architectures, in a coprocessor Intel Xeon Phi 3120P. We studied the problem\xa0of water injection in oil recovery in a heterogeneous reservoir with slab type geometry. We\xa0have used the Finite Volumes Method in the discretization of the governing equations of the\xa0two-phase flow and adopted the IMPES (Implicit Pressure Explicit Saturation) Method in the numerical solution of the governing equations. The numerical results showed that there was an\xa0improvement in computational performance and increase of speedup while refining the mesh. Keywords: Biconjugate Gradient Stabilized Method. OpenMP.
