Hubungan Usia Menarche dengan Usia Menopause pada Ibu-ibu di Kelurahan Muktisari Kecamatan Langensari Kota Banjar, Jawa Barat

Abstract. Puberty is a period of transition where children are experiencing a transition to more adult, commonly known as adolescent. Puberty is the beginning of secondary sex development in both women and men. Menarche is the first menstruation which is a sign that a woman has experienced a period of fertility. The age of menarche is very diverse and influenced by several factors. Conversely, a woman will experience menopause which is a sign of the cessation of a woman s fertile period. This study aimed to find out the relationship between the age of menarche and menopause. The Respondents consist of womens from Muktisari Village, Banjar City, West Java who have established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Of the 54 respondents who experienced menarche ≤ 13 years, there were 6 respondents (11.11%) and those> 13 years old were 48 respondents (88.9%) with an average age of 13.68 years. Respondents who experienced menopause ≤ 45 years were 5 respondents (9%) and those> 45 years old were 49 respondents (91%) with an average age of 47.96 years. Calculations were carried out using bivariate analysis with the chi-square test, obtained p = 0.000. There is a relationship between the incidence of menarche age and menopausal age in women in Muktisari village, sub-district, Langensari, Banjar city, West Java province in 2020. Menarche is influenced by many factors, levels hormones, nutrition, and the psychological state of adolescents. There is a correlation between menopause and the incidence of menarche because menarche will cause the activation of the follicles in the ovaries to be faster so that there is a close relationship between menarche and menopause Keyword : Banjar city, contraception,menarche, menopause Abstrak. Pubertas merupakan periode transisi dimana anak mengalami peralihan menjadi lebih dewasa, yaitu remaja. Pubertas merupakan awal perkembangan seks sekunder pada perempuan maupun laki-laki. Menarche adalah menstruasi pertama yang merupakan tanda bahwa wanita telah mengalami masa subur atau fertilitas. Usia menarche sangat beragam dan dapat dipengaruhi beberapa faktor. Sebaliknya, seorang wanita akan mengalami menopause yang merupakan tanda dari berhentinya masa subur seorang wanita. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mencari tahu hubungan antara usia menarche dan menopause . Metode penelitian ini dengan metode potong lintang dengan analisis penelitian ini kami menggunakan uji korelasi chi-square . Responden ibu-ibu Kelurahan Muktisari Kota Banjar Jawa Barat yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eklusi yang ditetapkan. Menarche dapat dipengaruhi banyak faktor, kadar hormon, gizi, dan keadaan psikologis remaja. Terdapat pengaruh antara menopause dengan kejadian menarche dikarenakan menarche akan menyebabkan aktifasi dari folikel dalam ovarium lebih cepat sehingga terdapat hubungan erat antara menarche dan menopause.
