Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Dengan Perilaku Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) Pada Petugas Kebersihan Di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD AL-Ihsan Provinsi Jabar Baleendah Bandung

Abstract. Officer cleaning service at the hospital is a worker at risk prone to workplace accidents due to frequent exposure to medical waste infectious. This is because theofficers are in cleaning service charge of cleaning all rooms in the hospital which are often contaminated by infectious body fluids such as blood, vomiting and others. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the behavior of the use of personal protective equipment on cleaners in the Inpatient Installation of Al-Ihsan Hospital Bandung. This research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The research time was from September - October 2020, the research site was in the Al-Ihsan Bandung Inpatient Installation with themethod simple random sampling and there were 56 respondents who had fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria filling out a validated questionnaire regarding the level of knowledge with the behavior of using personal protective equipment on cleaning staff at the inpatient installation of Al - Ihsan Regional Hospital, West Java Baleendah Bandung Province. The method of data collection used a validated questionnaire on the level of knowledge and behavior of using PPE. The results of statistical analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the behavior of using PPE (p <0.05). A good level of knowledge leads to a better understanding and awareness of the importance of using PPE and will influence the behavior of using PPE while working. The better the knowledge of a worker, the behavior based on that knowledge will be better in complying with the use of PPE. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the cleaners at the Inpatient Installation of Al-Ihsan Hospital Bandung have a good level of knowledge about the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and some of the cleaners in the Inpatient Installation of Al-Ihsan Hospital Bandung have good behavior. positive on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and there is a significant relationship between knowledge and behavior of cleaning workers in the Inpatient Installation of AL-Ihsan Bandung Hospital. Petugas cleaning service di rumah sakit merupakan pekerja yang memiliki risiko rentan mengalami kecelakaan kerja akibat sering terpapar dengan limbah medis yang infeksius. Hal ini disebabkan karena petugas cleaning service bertugas untuk membersihkan seluruh ruangan di RS yang seringkali terkontaminasi oleh cairan tubuh infeksius seperti darah, muntah dan lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku penggunaan alat pelindung diri pada petugas kebersihan di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Al-Ihsan Bandung. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Waktu penelitian dari bulan September - Oktober 2020, tempat penelitian di Instalasi Rawat Inap Al-Ihsan Bandung dengan metode simple random sampling dan terdapat 56 responden yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi mengisi kuesioner yang telah divalidasi mengenai tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku penggunaan alat pelindung diri pada petugas kebersihan di instalasi rawat inap RSUD Al - Ihsan Provinsi Jabar Baleendah Bandung. Cara pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku penggunaan APD yang telah divalidasi. Hasil Analisa statistik menujukkan terdapat adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku penggunaan APD (p<0,05). Tingkat pengetahuan yang baik menyebabkan pemahaman dan kesadaran pentingnya penggunaan APD menjadi lebih baik dan akan memengaruhi perilaku penggunaan APD saat bekerja. Semakin baik pengetahuan seseorang pekerja maka perilaku yang didasari oleh pengetahuan tersebut akan baik pula dalam mematuhi penggunaan APD. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa petugas kebersihan di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Al - Ihsan Bandung sebagian memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik terhadap penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) dan sebagian petugas kebersihan di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Al - Ihsan Bandung memiliki perilaku yang positif terhadap penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) serta terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan dan perilaku pada petugas kebersihan di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD AL - Ihsan Bandung.
