Sikap Orang Tua Terhadap Pendidikan Inklusi Di SD Negeri Kota Bandung

Abstract. Policies related to inclusive education have been implemented by the Bandung City government, by providing learning opportunities for marginalized children. Many studies related to inclusive education have been carried out, but only focus on parents who have children with special needs. There are attitudes shown by parents who accept and reject as well as the attitudes of parents of regular students, so further research is needed on the description of parents attitudes towards inclusive education that does not focus on the presence of children with special needs. This study aims to determine how the description of parents attitudes towards inclusive education in Elementary School In Bandung City using quantitative descriptive methods supported by interviews. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. The measuring instrument used is the Multidimensional Attitudes toward Inclusive Education Scale (MATIES) which was adapted again by the researcher. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis with 120 students parents as subjects. The results showed that 98 parents (81.67%) had positive attitudes towards inclusive education and 22 parents (18.3%) had negative attitudes towards inclusive education. It can be concluded that parents have a positive attitude towards inclusive education in Elementary School In Bandung City. Keywords: Attitude, Inclusive Education, Parents Abstrak. Kebijakan terkait pendidikan inklusi sudah diterapkan oleh pemerintah Kota Bandung, dengan menyediakan kesempatan belajar bagi anak yang terpinggirkan. Penelitian terkait pendidikan inklusi ini sudah banyak dilakukan, tetapi hanya berfokus pada orang tua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus. Sikap yang ditunjukkan orang tua ada yang menerima dan menolak begitu pun dengan sikap orang tua siswa reguler, sehingga perlu penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai gambaran sikap orang tua terhadap pendidikan inklusi yang tidak berfokus pada kehadiran anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran sikap orang tua terhadap pendidikan inklusi di SD Negeri Kota Bandung menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang ditunjang dengan hasil wawancara. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan Multidimensional Attitudes toward Inclusive Education Scale (MATIES) yang diadaptasi kembali oleh peneliti. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dengan jumlah subyek sebanyak 120 orang tua siswa. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 98 orang tua siswa (81.67%) memiliki sikap positif terhadap pendidikan inklusi dan 22 orang tua siswa (18.3%) memiliki sikap negatif terhadap pendidikan inklusi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa orang tua memiliki sikap yang positif terhadap pendidikan inklusi di SD Negeri Kota Bandung. Kata kunci: Orang Tua, Pendidikan inklusi, Sikap
