Abstract

Abstract. The impacts and changes that occur due to the COVID-19 pandemic, especially PJJ with online learning methods can cause academic stress and increase mental health consequences. This can be a threat to the well-being of adolescents. In order to be well-being, resilience is needed to achieve it. In the face of stress due to the pandemic, adolescents who have high levels of resilience are expected to have a positive mental health status, which in turn will increase their well-being scores. This study aims to determine how resilience affects SWB in adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic. The measuring instruments used are Student Life Stress Inventory (SLSI), Child and Youth Resilience Measurement Revision (CYRM-R) and Children s Worlds Subjective Well Being Scale (CW-SWBS). The research sample is 2930 adolescents aged 12-18 years who live in the territory of Indonesia, obtained through convenience sampling. The results showed that men had significantly higher scores than women on the resilience measure (M=44.15; SD=5.88). Men scored significantly higher than women in the SWB measure (M=35.76; SD=11.85). Resilience has a positive effect on SWB in adolescents with low academic stress (β=.581; p<.05) with a contribution of 33.7% (R 2 =.337). Resilience has a positive effect on SWB in adolescents with high academic stress (β=.554; p<.05) with a contribution of 30.7% (R 2 =.307). Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Student Life Stress Inventory (SLSI), Child and Youth Resilience Measurement Revision (CYRM-R) dan Children’s Worlds Subjective Well Being Scale (CW-SWBS).
