Sistem Monitoring CCTV Berbasis IoT dengan Raspberry Pi Menggunakan Metode PPDIOO pada SMKN 15 Bekasi

Abstract

Abstract . Monitoring or supervision is the main thing that can not be released for some people in general to monitor the state of a room. Especially in the modern era, there have been many changes that are very fundamental related to technological advances that support the need for information and communication in monitoring daily work activities. This study aims to create a prototype of a room security system or the implementation of a CCTV control system via a smartphone remotely with an Internet-based management of things (IoT) so that the condition of the entire room in SMK Negeri 15 Bekasi can be monitored wherever and whenever by the ICT team. Installation of CCTV monitoring system requires a proper analysis of the condition of a point that will be the target of CCTV installation, therefore we need a method to analyze and solve problems in this study. The research method used is the Prepare Plan Design Operate and Optimize (PPDIOO) method. This implementation is complemented by the use of Raspberry Pi as a microcontroller and server. The importance of using a CCTV monitoring system makes the ICT team in controlling all rooms of SMK Negeri 15 Bekasi become more efficient without having to come all the time to the location. The analysis results obtained show that the CCTV monitoring system based on Internet of Things (IoT) is able to provide efficiency in conducting surveillance of a room, besides being able to monitor electronic conditions that are still active or lit conditions such as lights, fans, etc. so that it can be automatically deactivated through the system. Monitoring atau pengawasan merupakan hal utama yang tidak dapat dilepaskan bagi sebagian orang pada umumnya untuk memantau keadaan suatu ruangan. Khususnya di era modern saat ini sudah banyak membawa perubahan yang sangat mendasar terkait dengan kemajuan teknologi yang menunjang kebutuhan akan informasi dan komunikasi dalam memantau aktivitas pekerjaan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah prototype sistem keamanan ruangan atau implementasi sistem pengendalian CCTV melalui smartphone secara jarak jauh dengan manajemen berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) agar keadaan seisi ruangan pada SMK Negeri 15 Kota Bekasi dapat terpantau dimanapun dan kapanpun oleh tim ICT. Pemasangan sistem monitoring CCTV membutuhkan sebuah analisa yang tepat terhadap kondisi suatu titik yang akan menjadi sasaran pemasangan CCTV tersebut, oleh sebab itu diperlukan sebuah metode untuk menganalisa dan sebagai problem solving dalam penelitian ini. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode Prepare Plan Design Implement Operate and Optimize (PPDIOO). Implementasi ini dilengkapi dengan penggunaan Raspberry Pi sebagai microcontroller dan server. Pentingnya penggunaan sistem monitoring CCTV membuat tim ICT dalam mengontrol seluruh ruangan SMK Negeri 15 Kota Bekasi menjadi lebih efisien tanpa harus datang setiap saat ke lokasi. Hasil analisa yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa sistem monitoring CCTV kendali jarak jauh berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) ini mampu memberikan efisiensi dalam melalukan pengawasan terhadap suatu ruangan, selain itu mampu memonitoring keadaan elektronik yang masih dalam kondisi aktif atau menyala seperti lampu, kipas, dan lain sebagainya sehingga dapat dinonaktifkan secara otomatis melalui sistem tersebut.
