Peran Editor Dalam Pembuatan Film Pendek Fiksi Bergenre Drama “Delapan Warna Pelangi

Abstract. The existence of the world of cinema in Indonesia is currently growing and as we can see for ourselves that the movement is quite rapid. It can be seen from the emergence of various film titles in theaters of various genres. Apart from foreign films, films made by the nation s children have also decorated cinema screens, television sets, and various digital platforms. There are various types of films such as short films, feature films and documentaries. The various genres and duration of films that exist today, did not reduce the audience s interest. The film EIGHT WARNA PELANGI takes the genre of romance drama with a duration of approximately 30 minutes, telling about the turbulent love relationship between two lovers. Until one point, the relationship between the two is tested, misunderstandings, friendship and ego make them both have to choose to give up in anger or vice versa. In making a short film work, there are three stages, namely pre-production, production and post-production. Of course, these stages are also supported by the production team, which is assigned according to their respective jobdesk. The stage that is the most important process is pre-production, because this process determines how the next process and the results to be obtained. As for the production stage, it includes the process of taking pictures, organizing and making sets. The post-production stage contains the editing, coloring and sound processing processes. It was during post-production that the scene was not enough, for example, it could be a lack of established images for moving to the next scene. Eksistensi dunia perfilman di Indonesia saat ini sudah semakin berkembang dan seperti yang bisa kita rasakan sendiri bahwa pergerakannya cukup pesat. Terlihat dari munculnya berbagai judul film di bioskop dengan berbagai genre. Selain film mancanegara, film-film karya anak bangsa juga turut menghiasi layar-layar bioskop, televisi, hingga berbagai platform digital . Terdapat berbagai jenis film seperti film pendek, film panjang dan juga documenter. Beragam genre dan durasi film yang ada saat ini, sama sekali tidak mengurangi minat penonton. Film “DELAPAN WARNA PELANGI”\xa0 mengambil genre drama romance berdurasi kurang lebih 30 menit, bercerita tentang hubungan percintaan sepasang kekasih yang bergejolak. Hingga disatu titik, hubungan keduanya diuji, kesalahpahaman, pertemanan serta ego masing-masing membuat keduanya harus memilih menyerah dalam amarah atau sebaliknya. Dalam pembuatan sebuah karya film pendek, terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu pra-produksi, produksi dan pasca-produksi . Tahapan-tahapan tersebut tentunya didukung juga oleh tim produksi yang bertugas sesuai dengan jobdesknya masing-masing. Tahapan yang menjadi proses yang paling penting yaitu pra-produksi, karena pada proses inilah yang menentukan bagaimana proses selanjutnya dan hasil yang akan diperoleh. Sedangkan untuk tahap produksi, meliputi proses pengambilan gambar, pengorganisasian serta pembuatan set. Dalam tahap pasca produksi berisi proses pengeditan, pewarnaan dan pengolahan suara. Pada pasca produksi ini lah mulai terlihat scene yang kurang, contohnya bisa saja seperti kurangnya gambar established untuk perpindahan ke scene selanjutnya.
