Analisis Proses Kreatif Produksi Film Dokumenter “Islam Everywhere”

Abstract

Abstract.\xa0 This research was conducted to analyze the creative process of producing the documentary film Islam Everywhere. This research qualitatively identifies, explores and analyzes creative components including constraints and creative input in encouraging creativity in documentary film production. This research found that the creative expressions of the documentary maker Islam Everywhere appeared in the concepts, themes, issues raised, character selection and the use of audio-visual technology. Observed from the practical aspect, the problem with the production of documentary films Islam Everywhere lies in the limited technical knowledge of independent documentary filmmakers. The visual completeness, the structure of the film, the plot, the ability to express the message in a storytelling manner that the film wants to convey has not been fully fulfilled. The results of this study found that experimentation is an important feature aspect in making creative documentary films as a genre that conveys information, presents facts and actuality. How to present truth, honest representation, objectivity and subjectivity in an attractive way requires a creative approach. Being creative means taking ideas further, finding new points of view. Improving the cognitive realm, and different skills also contribute greatly to the creative process of documentary making so that documentary films bring out different processes and representations of work and provide multidimensional results for documentary filmmakers and audiences. Keywords: Film, Documentary, Islam, Creative Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa proses proses kreatif produksi film dokumenter Islam Everywhere. Penelitian ini secara kualitatif mengidentifikasi, mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis komponen kreatif termasuk kendala dan masukan kreatif dalam mendorong kreativitas dalam produksi film dokumenter. Penelitian ini menemukan ekspresi kreatif pembuat dokumenter Islam Everywhere muncul dalam konsep, tema, masalah yang diangkat, pemilihan karakter dan penggunaan teknologi audio-visual. Kendala produksi film dokumenter Islam Everywhere diamati dari aspek praktik terletak pada terbatasnya pengetahuan teknis pembuat film dokumenter independen. Kelengkapan visual, struktur film, alur, kemampuan mengungkap pesan secara bercerita yang ingin disampaikan dalam film belum sepenuhnya terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa eksperimen merupakan aspek fitur penting dalam membuat film dokumenter kreatif sebagai genre yang menyampaikan informasi, menyajikan fakta dan aktualitas. Bagaimana menyajikan kebenaran, representasi yang jujur, objektivitas dan subjektivitas dengan cara yang menarik perlu pendekatan kreativitas. Menjadi kreatif berarti mengambil ide lebih jauh, menemukan sudut pandang baru. Meningkatkan ranah kognitif, dan keterampilan yang berbeda juga berkontribusi besar pada proses kreatif pembuatan dokumenter sehingga film dokumenter memunculkan proses dan representasi karya berbeda dan memberikan hasil multidimensi bagi pembuat film dokumenter dan penonton.
