Hábitos de consumo de las nuevas tecnologías en adolescentes ¿Uso o abuso?

espanolEl proceso de comunicacion se produce en gran medida mediante las Tecnologias de la Informacion y la Comunicacion (TICS), especialmente en la poblacion adolescente. El objetivo del trabajo fue evaluar y valorar el uso problematico de las TICS. La muestra estuvo integrada por 57 adolescentes (37 mujeres y 20 varones) entre 14 y 18 anos, estudiantes de cuarto curso de la ESO y primer curso de Bachillerato de Pulpi (Almeria). Se aplico un cuestionario que media variables sociodemograficas, nivel educativo y habitos de uso de las TICS e Internet, y la adaptacion espanola del “Mobile Phone Problem Use Scale”. Se solicito autorizacion al centro, a los tutores legales y a los participantes. Se utilizo el paquete estadistico SPSS, version 25.0. Los resultados evidencian que el 26.3% de la muestra obtuvo una puntuacion alta-severa en el uso problematico del telefono movil, confirmando relaciones de dependencia hacia estos dispositivos e identificando las principales areas de dichas repercusiones. EnglishThe communication process is produced through information and communication technologies (ICTS), especially in the adolescent population. The objective was to evaluate and to assess the problematic use of the ICTS. The sample was integrated by 57 adolescents (37 women and 20 males) between 14 and 18 years, students of last high school courses. A proper questionnaire applied to itself that associate was measuring demographic variables, educational level and habits of the use of ICTS and the Internet, and the Spanish adaptation of “Mobile Phone Problem Use Scale”. Authorization was requested to the center, to the legal tutors and to the participants. We used the statistical package SPSS, version 25.0. The results it is demonstrated that 26.3 % of the sample obtained a high-severe punctuation as for the problematic use of the mobile phone, confirming dependency relationships towards these devices and identifying the main areas of such repercussions.
