NEW APPROACH TO DETECTION C-BAND GROUND AND NAVAL RADARS

Abstract

C-band military radars cause interferences to Sentinel-1 SAR satellite when it passes over their application area. Their interfering signals produce visible X marks in SAR satellite imagery. The article deals with new signal processing technique, first introduced by Israeli researcher, based on using these marks to detect and geolocate corresponding radars.
