PENYALAHGUNAAN MINUMAN BERALKOHOL OLEH REMAJA DI PASAR MINGGU, JAKARTA SELATAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu kenakalan yang dilakukan oleh remaja Indonesia adalah mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol. Berdasarkan razia peredaraan minuman beralkohol yang dilakukan Satpol PP pada tahun 2018, hasil penyitaan minuman beralkohol terbanyak ada di wilayah Jakarta Selatan. Kecamatan Pasar Minggu menempati posisi pertama dengan penyitaan minuman beralkohol sebanyak 1.020 botol, dan diikuti kecamatan-kecamatan lainnya di wilayah tersebut, artinya hampir setengah dari 2.796 botol hasil penyitaan minuman beralkohol berasal dari Kecamatan Pasar Minggu. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi remaja meminum-minuman beralkohol secara mendalam dan komprehensif dan juga menganalisa kontrol sosial yang merespon fenomena ini serta melakukan metode observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan pihak terkait seperti keluarga narasumber, KPAI maupun pihak Kepolisian Resort Jakarta Selatan serta cara dalam menghadapi kasus penyalahgunaan minuman beralkohol di kalangan remaja. Banyak faktor yang mendorong remaja di Kecamatan Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan untuk mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol antara lain faktor internal seperti pelarian dari masalah yang dihadapi, serta faktor eksternal dari lingkungan yang menyebabkan remaja ingin coba-coba minuman beralkohol, juga kontrol sosial tidak adanya unsur-unsur seperti kasih sayang atau keterikatan orang tua dan temannya ( attachment ), tanggung jawab atau kontrol diri yang lemah ( commitment ), keterlibatan atau partisipasi ( involvement ), dan kepercayaan atau keyakinan ( belief ), juga menyebabkan remaja mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol. Based on the raids on alcoholic beverage distribution by Satpol PP in 2018, the highest number of alcoholic beverage seizures was in the South Jakarta area. Pasar Minggu District occupies the first position with the seizure of 1,020 bottles of alcoholic beverages, and is followed by other districts in the region, meaning that almost half of the 2,796 bottles of confiscation of alcoholic beverages come from that area. This study explores the factors underlying adolescent drinking alcohol in a comprehensive manner and also analyzes social control that responds to this phenomenon and conducts methods of observation and direct interviews with related parties such as the family of main interviewees, KPAI and the South Jakarta Resort Police and ways in facing cases of the misuse of alcoholic beverages among them. Many factors encourage adolescents in there to consume alcoholic beverages, including internal factors such as escape from the problems faced, as well as external factors from the environment that cause teens to try alcohol, as well as social control in the absence of elements such as affection or attachment of parents and friends, commitment, involvement, and belief also causes teens to consume alcoholic beverages.
