HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI PEMUSTAKA TERHADAP SISTEM KLASIFIKASI DEWEY DECIMAL CLASSIFICATION (DDC) DENGAN PEMANFAATAN SISTEM TEMU KEMBALI MENGGUNAKAN OPAC (ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOG) DI UPT PERPUSTAKAAN POLITEKNIK NEGERI SRIWIJAYA PALEMBANG

Abstract

ABSTRAK Artikel ini membahas tentang persepsi pemustaka terhadap sistem klasifikasi Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) dengan pemanfaatan sistem temu kembali menggunakan OPAC ( Online Public Access Catalog )\xa0 di UPT Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri\xa0 Sriwijaya Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitain korelasional dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 96 pemustaka dngan teknik simpel random sampeling . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat\xa0 hubungan yang signifikan antara Persepsi Pemustaka Terhadap Sistem Klasifikasi Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Dengan Pemanfaatan Sistem Temu kembali menggunakan OPAC ( Online Public Access Catalog )\xa0 Di UPT Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri\xa0 Sriwijaya Palembang. ABSTRACT This article iscusses the perceptions of users to Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) classification system by utilizing the retrieval system using OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) in the UPT Palembang Sriwijaya Polytechnic State Library. This study is a correlational research with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Samples in the study were 96 users with simple random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the Perception of Users to the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Classification System and the Utilization of the Retrieval System using OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) in the UPT Palembang Sriwijaya Polytechnic Library.
