TÜRKÇEDEKİ TÜRK DİLİ TARİHİ KİTAPLARI ÜZERİNE KARŞILAŞTIRMALI BİR İNCELEME

Abstract

Turkish is one of the oldest and most historical languages in the world. Historical\xa0 process of Turkish has been studied in various books from the perspective internal and external of the language. But, these books concerning the history of Turkish language are quite new than the history of this language. The first History of Turkish Language book was written by Ahmet Caferoglu, the second one by Ahmet Bican Ercilasun, and the third one by Ali Akar. In this paper, these three books were compared within the perspective of informations concerning the internal and external history of the language and two issues; and finally It has been identified that, Ahmet Caferoglu s work still preserves its value, Ercilasun s book is more detailed in terms of the internal history of language, and Akar s work has original characteristics in terms of giving more importance and place to the current situation.
