Abstract


Вioconversion is considered in the article as one of the modern approaches utilization of organic and vegetable wastes. It is ecologically friendly trend of processing aimed at the production of ecologically clean biogas. Raw materials for biogas production are: manure, beet husks, faecal sediments, grass, household waste, dairy waste; potato waste recycling. Biogas is produced in different ways: in methane tanks of special construction and in landfills. In addition to methane production, biogas installations serve as waste treatment facilities, reducing chemical and bacterial contamination of water, air, soil, and recycling waste into neutral mineral products. The aim of this article is a problem solving of domestic wastes and sunflower husk utilization by the development of modern technology of its bioconversion in order to improvement the ecological state of environment and production of biogas with high methane content, the use which will reduce the amount of consumed natural gas. The main areas of research are the definition of raw materials that should be used in the further production of biogas; theoretically substantiate and experimentally demonstrate the choice of food waste that can be used to produce biogas; to statistically process experimental data and to determine the dependence of the biogas output on the degree of preparation of raw materials. The main objectives of this study are: the creation of technology for the production of biogas based on food waste and sunflower seeds; expansion of the raw material base, safe disposal of domestic waste; determination of factors influencing the quality of methane fermentation process (kinetics and rate of biogas output), based on the obtained results.
