Risk Factors of Pain History Against Nutritional Status with Index WAZ, HAZ, WHZ, zBMI of Toddlers in Mesjid Village, Panteraja District, Pidie Jaya Regency
Abstract
Background: Indonesia is still experiencing various nutritional problems, including malnutrition among toddlers. Children who are malnourished have a low immune system so that children are prone to infectious diseases. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for the history of illness on the nutritional status of under-five stunting in Pidie Jaya Regency. Methods: This study was a descriptive-analytic study with a cross-sectional study design with a total sample of 34 people. History data of weaning patterns and disease history were obtained through interviews with a questionnaire. The nutritional status data for children under five were obtained by anthropometric measurements. Analysis using the chi-square test. Results: Based on the results of the study, most of the children under five, 14.7% had a history of fever, the children under five who were not sick were 52.95%. Toddlers with good nutritional status with WAZ (64.7%), underweight nutritional status with an index of WHZ (55.9%), short nutritional status with HAZ (52.9%), and normal nutritional status with zBMI index of 73.5%. There is an effect of a child s history of illness in the last three months on the nutritional status on the index HAZ P-value = 0.05). Conclusion: The history of the disease in the last 3 months has a significant relationship with HAZ of children under five. Mothers need to adopt a healthy lifestyle, environmental hygiene, clean food history so that the child s status is better.
