Relação custo-benefício do transplante renal frente à hemodiálise
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the costs related to the treatment of hemodialysis in relation to kidney transplantation in a hospital in the south of the state of Minas Gerais. Descriptive, exploratory study with a quantitative approach. The data were analyzed and interpreted through simple descriptive statistics and the data from the Sysart and NefroData system for the years 2013 to 2018 were used. The main results indicate that 322 individuals are undergoing dialysis. 40 users are effectively registered on the transplant list. The cost for dialysis treatment during the study period was R$ 46,618,757.51. The average individual value of the dialysis treatment between the years 2013 to 2018 was R$ 27,962.26. The value of the transplant is currently R$ 33,147.18. In this context, the study showed that in the first year the transplant has a higher value, but in the long run it prevails as the best and most economical option. DESCRIPTORS: Renal Failure. Conviver com uma DCNT gera sentimento de impotência, angústia e medo da morte, além da perda do bem-estar físico e mental, dos papéis sociais e da rotina, como acontece na doença renal crônica1.
