Abstract

The experiment was conducted for 3 months using nine (9) males Bali Cattle ages 2,5 - 3,5 or an average of 3.0 years old based on teeth estimated with initial body weight range is 227-290 kg or an average of 257.40±23,60 kg in the Fattening Stalls, Bero Sembada Farmers Group, Laen Manen Sub District, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This research is adapted to the practice of ranchers in fattened cattle that includes management of feeding, housing, and health. The type of feed given during the study was Centrosema pubences, Clitoria ternatea, Fresh Corn Straw, Kinggras, Leucaena leucocepala, Natural Grass, Elephant Grass, and Turi. The results of the research showed\xa0that\xa0the Bali\xa0cattle\xa0male finishing phase on fattening with\xa0forage,\xa0yield\xa0dry matter intake\xa0(kg/head/day) reached\xa07.079\xa0or\xa02.509\xa0% of\xa0BW, while the\xa0crude protein\xa0and\xa0organic\xa0material\xa0intake\xa0respectively\xa01.053\xa0and\xa06.440\xa0(kg/head/day).\xa0Digestibility\xa0coefficients of\xa0dry matter\xa0were\xa056.68%, crude protein\xa069.86%, and organic matter\xa068.83%. It can be concluded\xa0that the\xa0use of\xa0forage\xa0on\xa0fattening male\xa0Bali\xa0cattle\xa0by\xa0ranchers\xa0was the produce\xa0dry matter intake, crude protein, and\xa0organic matter\xa0are\xa0high\xa0quite but\xa0gives\xa0relatively low digestibility.
