Pencegahan Dan Edukasi Covid-19 Di Wilayah Puskesmas Pasar Ambon

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bagi negara-negara di dunia termasuk Indonesia, tahun 2020 merupakan tahun yang paling sulit dan mengkhawatirkan. Setidaknya lebih dari 200 negara sedang memerangi wabah virus korona yang menewaskan ratusan ribu orang. Pada manusia, virus corona biasanya menyebabkan infeksi saluran pernapasan ringan, seperti flu biasa, meski bentuk penyakit tertentu (seperti SARS, MERS, dan Covid-19) lebih mematikan. Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan jenis penyakit baru yang belum pernah ditemukan pada manusia sebelumnya. Virus penyebab COVID-19 disebut SarsCoV-2. Coronavirus adalah sejenis virus zoonosis (ditularkan antara hewan dan manusia). Maraknya wabah virus corona menuntut pemerintah mengambil sikap dan mengambil tindakan, menjaga jarak dari masyarakat, menggunakan masker dan cuci tangan pakai sabun sebagai respons terhadap pandemi COVID-19. Menjaga jarak, memakai masker dan mencuci tangan pakai sabun adalah beberapa langkah untuk mencegah dan mengendalikan infeksi virus corona. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang pencegahan dan edukasi Covid-19 kepada seluruh warga di Kecamatan Pesawahan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pasar Ambon Bandar Lampung guna memutus rantai penyebaran Virus Covid-19. Solusi dari permasalahan layanan ini adalah dengan melakukan interaksi sosial yang tepat dan efektif tentang pencegahan virus corona di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pasar Ambon Bandar Lampung melalui pengeras suara dari ambulance sembari mengelilingi daerah wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pasar Ambon Bandar Lampung. Selanjutnya mendatangi beberapa tempat yang ramai untuk memberikan edukasi serta membagikan masker secara gratis pada masyarakat yang tidak mengenakan masker. The rise of the corona virus outbreak demands that the government take a stand and take action, maintain distance from the public, use masks and wash hands with soap in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Keeping your distance, wearing a mask and washing your hands with soap are some steps to prevent and control corona virus infection. This community service aims to provide information about the prevention and education of Covid-19 to all residents in the Pesawahan District in the Pasar Ambon Bandar Lampung Community Health Center to break the chain of spreading the Covid-19 Virus. The solution to this service problem is to carry out appropriate and effective social interactions regarding the prevention of the corona virus in the work area of the Pasar Ambon Bandar Lampung Community Health Center through loudspeakers from the ambulance while traveling around the Pasar Ambon Bandar Lampung Community Health Center work area.
