Abstract

The article substantiates the relevance of the study of institutional changes in thesystem of training military specialists with higher education. The need for constructive changes inthe system of officer training requires the expansion of the categorical apparatus of research ofthese phenomena on the basis of the application of methodological tools of modern institutionalism.At the same time, the analysis of institutional changes that have taken place in recent years in thesystem of officer training requires a systematic approach. It is proved that the analysis of thetransformation of institutions involves the study of the phenomenon of dependence on their previousdevelopment. Taking into account the theoretical provisions of institutionalism, the main changesthat have taken place in recent years in the system of officer training are analyzed.
