El b-learning en los cursos semipresenciales y presenciales de la formación inicial de profesores de ciencia en Uruguay

Abstract

The article analyzes the use of digital platforms in students of science teachers, in two training modalities: classroom and blended. The research design is mix cut. The responses of 396 students to a digital survey applied in 8 centers and the results of 17 in-depth interviews are analyzed. The findings indicate that future science teachers enter to the educational platforms with moderate frequency, underuse digital tools and have little access to other free digital resources available on the web. Interactivity between teachers and students in virtual classrooms is moderate or low, depending on the discipline and the training modality. According to student perception, a good practice of using virtual classrooms require: unrestricted access to computer equipment and the Internet, greater use of the videoconference system and explanatory videos of the topics.
