IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PREPARING DOING CONCLUDING (PDC) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA

Abstract

This research is motivated by learning activities that are still notes, memorization, and simple explanations from the teacher without requiring students to analyze a problem and try to solve the problems faced in learning. For this reason, the implementation of the Preparing, Doing, and Concluding (PDC) learning model is expected to be a solution to improve students critical thinking skills. This research was conducted on grade IV / A students of SDN 003 Sungai Salak. This type of research is classroom action research. The instrument used was a critical thinking skills test. The results showed that the average critical thinking skills of students in the first cycle was 66.72 in the sufficient category, in the second cycle it was 75.52 which was included in the good category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Preparing, Doing, and Concluding (PDC) learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of grade IV / A students of SDN 003 Sungai Salak.
