Abstract


ABSTRACT \nMother and child are family members who need to get priority in the implementation of health efforts, because mothers and children are a vulnerable group to the situation of the family and their surroundings in general, so that an assessment of the health status and performance of maternal and child health efforts is important to do. The implementation regulation is contained in the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 87 of 2014, which one of the articles states that family development is carried out in an effort to create a quality family living in a healthy environment, and the health condition of each family member is one of the requirements of a quality family. or Locations of Community Service Activities carried out in the Jagir Surabaya Health Center Work Area. The direct targets in this activity are health cadres and pregnant women who are in the Jagir Surabaya Health Center Work Area. \nThis Community Service activity was able to increase 80% of pregnant women knowledge about early detection knowledge of neonatal maternal emergencies. This Community Service activity was able to increase the knowledge of mother cadres by 90% about knowledge of early detection of maternal neonatal emergencies. Cadre mothers are committed to assisting pregnant women until the postpartum period as well as monitoring the development of toddlers. Pregnant women are committed to always consulting health workers, cadres either directly or through online media that have been established. \n Output from community service with the theme of improving health education on the ability of pregnant women in early detection of neonatal maternal emergencies. in the form of: Scientific articles published in national journals, Leaf lead, modules on IPR, Community improvement and skills, Increasing peace / public health / education (general public partners). \n \nKeywords: Community Service, Health Education, Pregnant Women
