Media Buku Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak Mempengaruhi Self Efficacy Ibu Hamil dalam Pemanfaatan Antenatal Care

Abstract

The Maternal and Child Health Book is one of the media used by health workers in educating pregnant women so that they can increase self-efficacy during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. This study aims to analyze the influence of the MCH book media on the self-efficacy of pregnant women in the use of antenal care services at Lauwa Health Center, Gowa Regency. This type of research was a quasi experiment, with a pre post test without control group design. The sample were selected by purposive sampling method during June-July 2020 with a sample size of 35 respondents. Data were analyzed by t-test. The results showed that the MCH book media had an effect on pregnant self-efficacy in the use of antenatal care services, with a p-value <0.005. Furthermore, it is suggested that health workers at Lauwa Health Center, Gowa Regency provide support and education to pregnant women so that the effectiveness of the MCH book media can be maintained. \nKey words: pregnant women; Maternal and Child Health Books; self efficacy; antenatal care \n \nABSTRAK \n \nBuku Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan oleh petugas kesehatan dalam melakukan edukasi kepada ibu hamil agar dapat meningkatkan self efficacy selama proses kehamilan, persalinan dan nifas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media buku KIA terhadap self efficacy ibu hamil dalam pemanfaatan pelayanan antenal care di Puskesmas Lauwa, Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi, dengan desain pre pos test without control group. Sampel dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling selama bulan Juni-Juli 2020 dengan ukuran sampel 35 responden. Data dianalisis dengan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada media buku KIA berpengaruh terhadap self efficacy hamil dalam pemanfaatan pelayanan antenatal care, dengan p-value <0,005. Selanjutnya disarankan agar tenaga kesehatan di Puskesmas Lauwa, Kabupaten Gowa memberikan dukungan dan edukasi kepada ibu hamil agar efektifitas media buku KIA dapat dipertahankan. \nKata kunci: ibu hamil; Buku Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak; self efficacy; antenatal care
