Abstract


The present work aims to accomplish a study in few processes that have been developed in Educational research on teacher education, based on researches by ANDRÉ (2010), GATTI (2014), analyzing in a specific way contributions in the advances of scientific studies on teacher training and the possibility of organizing the theme as a field of studies. We seek to present how the actions of the Government are addressing the issue in their legislation, plans and goals, taking into account the need to think about the training offered to these professionals. From a brief data survey of Education, it was possible to note the interest of researchers in the subject of teacher education, the growth of the topic in scientific researches and a transformation in the focus on approaches.
