Ausentismo estudiantil a encuentros virtuales en tiempos de Pandemia COVID-19

 
 
 

Abstract


Education in times of the COVID-19 pandemic produced a significant change for teachers, legal representatives and students, making the continuity of teaching and learning a challenge. The objective of this research is to determine the causes of school nonattendance to virtual encounters of students in the third year of high school in the morning and evening hours of the Educational Unit April 16 in the city of Azogues, province of Canar, in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Using a quantitative methodological approach, descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional cohort, the population was made up of third year high school students, who were issued a survey validated by Cronbach s Alpha; based on the responses of the surveyed, the researcher proposes 3 important aspects: motivated teacher, motivating teacher, teacher trained with tools for video conferencing.
