Effect of TCM nursing intervention on patients with lupus nephritis undergoing hemodialysis combined with hormone shock therapy

Abstract

Objective \nTo explore the effect of TCM nursing intervention on patients with lupus nephritis undergoing hemodialysis combined with hormone shock therapy. \n \n \nMethods \n68 patients with lupus nephritis admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to January 2018 were selected and divided into observation group and control group with 34 cases in each group by the random number table method. The control group was given basic nursing intervention, while the observation group was given traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention. And the nursing effects of the two groups were compared. \n \n \nResults \nThe total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (100.00% vs.82.35%) (P<0.05). The scores of quality of life of the two groups after intervention were significantly higher than those before intervention (P<0.05); the scores of material life, mental function, physical function, social function of quality of life of the observation group after intervention were (68.27±6.23), (69.47±8.53), (68.82±7.11), (70.42±7.58), significantly higher than those of the control group [(61.64±6.07), (61.48±6.63), (62.67±6.92), (63.59±7.62)] (P<0.05). \n \n \nConclusion \nTCM nursing intervention can effectively improve the curative effect of patients with lupus nephritis undergoing hemodialysis combined with hormone shock therapy, improve the quality of life of patients, with good nursing effect, which is worthy of clinical application. \n \n \nKey words: \nLupus nephritis;\xa0Hemodialysis;\xa0Hormone shock;\xa0TCM nursing
