Development of relevant evaluation criteria for juvenile idiopathic arthritis
Abstract
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a common chronic rheumatic disease in children.JIA can be complicated by infection, macrophage activation syndrome, growth retardation, and joint deformity during the diagnosis and treatment. If JIA patients are not given timely and adequate treatment, the prognosis is significantly worse than that of patients after treatment, and even about one-third of children with JIA will have persistent active disease into adulthood. In order to quickly assess whether there is any remission of the disease, it is necessary to provide timely basis for adjusting the treatment plan to reduce the occurrence of complications. Thus, an effective and feasible JIA assessment standard is needed. However, there is no uniform evaluation standard at home and abroad for the JIA assessment. This article summarizes the latest developments in the relevant JIA assessment standards, and discusses JIA-related assessment criteria in aspects of efficacy assessments and prognostic assessments. \n \n \nKey words: \nJuvenile idiopathic arthritis;\xa0Evaluation criteria;\xa0Children
