Comparison on CT of acquired immune deficiency syndrom complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis and simple pulmonary tuberculosis
Abstract
Objective \nTo study the difference of pulmonary imaging between acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis and single pulmonary tuberculosis. \n \n \nMethods \nA total of 49 patients with AIDS complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis diagnosed in the Fourth People’s Hospital of Taiyuan from January 2018 to December 2018 were selected as the double-sense group, and 114 patients with simple pulmonary tuberculosis were selected as the simple group. The clinical symptoms, lung computer tomography (CT) and other data of the two groups were retrospectively analyzed. \n \n \nResults \nThe incidence of left lung (79.8%) and cavitation (29.8%) in the simple group were higher than those in the double-sense group (65.3%, 14.3%), while the mediastinal lymph node enlargement rate (31.6%) was lower than that in the double-sense group (71.4%), and the differences were statistically significant (P all 0.05). \n \n \nConclusions \nCT of AIDS patients complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis manifests less cavity than simple tuberculosis, but mediastinal lymphadenopathy is common. \n \n \nKey words: \nSimple pulmonary tuberculosis;\xa0Acquired immune deficiency syndrome complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis;\xa0Lung computed tomography
