Songs of Dolanan Anak As Improvement of 21st Century Skills

Abstract

This paper will discuss the song of dolanan anak Cublak-cublak suweng as improvement of 21st skills, namely collaboration, communication. Cublak-cublak Suweng is one of the traditional game of Java which is usually played by children. In the game of Cublak-Cublak Suweng, children collaborate and interact with each other, because this is a group game, so it is expected that children playing and singing Cublak-Cublak Suweng can play together and respect one another. Collaboration and communication skills are necessary skills in the 21st century. schools are responsible for guiding children in the step by step developmental process, and skills for their life or learning ethical values is a step in the process of greater development. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement in the skills of fourth grade children of SD Tegalrejo 1 Yogyakarta Indonesia in collaborating and communicating by playing and singing Cublak-Cublak Suweng.
