El acoso laboral y la protección jurídica al trabajador en Ecuador

 
 

Abstract


Workplace harassment is a phenomenon that has been incorporated into several legal systems, as it is an attack on the human dignity and integrity of people, in its different dimensions such as physical, psychological or moral, which has been conducive to the international community and the local laws, propose regulations and normative readjustments, in addition to designing public policies, and other prevention, sanction and reparation mechanisms. Therefore, this article aims to review regional legislation and determine the scope of legal protection, which is deployed in relation to harassment for the benefit of victims, with a main focus on the Ecuadorian labor system. For this, a documentary-type investigation of bibliographic review has been carried out, in which, simultaneously, the historical - logical and inductive - deductive methods were applied, aimed at glimpsing the state deployment, to guarantee respect for the rights of those who they are immersed in an employment relationship.
