Efektifitas Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Konsumen Pengguna Kosmetik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian menganalisis efektivitas perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen pengguna kosmetik dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian hukum empiris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas perlindungan hukum terhadap pengguna kosmetik yang dilakukan oleh Balai Pengawasan Obat dan Makanan dikota Makassar (BPOM) belum maksimal. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas dalam pengawasan perlindungan konsumen adalah subtansi hukum, berkaitan dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang mengatur tentang perlindungan konsumen, sarana yang digunakan dalam pengawasan perlindungan konsumen dan penyelenggaraan pengawasan berkaitan dengan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat umum tentang pelayanan pengaduan konsumen. \nThe research objective is to analyze the effectiveness of legal protection for cosmetic users and the factors that influence it. This type of research is to use empirical legal research. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of legal protection for cosmetic users by the Makassar City Food and Drug Administration (BPOM) has not been maximized. Factors that affect the effectiveness of consumer protection supervision are the substance of the law, relating to the laws and regulations governing consumer protection, the means used in the supervision of consumer protection and the implementation of supervision related to socialization to the general public regarding consumer complaint services.
