ВИХОВАННЯ У СТАРШОКЛАСНИКІВ МІЖНАЦІОНАЛЬНОЇ ТОЛЕРАНТНОСТІ ЗАСОБАМИ ЄВРОКЛУБУ ЗАГАЛЬНООСВІТНЬОГО НАВЧАЛЬНОГО ЗАКЛАДУ

 

Abstract


The article deals with the problem of upbringing high school students’ interethnic tolerance, which is considered as an integrative characteristic of an individual, that includes the knowledge necessary for the implementation of interethnic interaction; positive emotional perception of the cultural other as an equal being; the desire to communicate with peers, representatives of other ethnical groups; the ability to compromise, to self-restraint, respect for the cultural differences of the interlocutor. The relevance of the study is determined by the era of change and European integration of Ukraine, the way to European culture lies through the ability to communicate with representatives of other cultures.\n\n The researches of recent years have been analyzed and the main theoretical approaches of scientists concerning the phenomenon of interethnic tolerance in modern pedagogical science were generalized. The main modern approaches to classification of categorical attributes of tolerance are highlighted. The main types of tolerance, to which the most attention is paid in the national pedagogical discourse, are described.\n\nTheoretical (study of scientific methodological literature, systematization of organizational forms and methods of education) and empirical methods of research (praxymmetric - analysis of pedagogical experience and results of school Euroclubs activity) were applied.\n\n It has been proved that the school Euroclub is an effective tool for forming a tolerant attitude to the peers of another nation. It is emphasized on practical acquaintance with cultures of different peoples, as a result of which young people learn to identify the uniqueness of each culture, to determine its value characteristics. The modern forms of work and activities of the Euroclub of a comprehensive educational institution are revealed. The main factors of the senior pupil`s interethnic tolerance formation are: the subject-subjective interaction of members of the school Euroclub and the influence of the guardian of the Euroclub on the formation of specific for interethnic tolerance knowledge and skills; creation of an activity environment for the personality traits of senior pupils; organization of pedagogical support of senior pupils in respect of interethnic tolerance.\n\n It is noted that the formation of interethnic tolerance should be non-violent, but through social-educational, informational and educational work.\n\nThe range of problem issues that remain outside the systematic development of scientists in the field of pedagogy (the influence of certain forms of educational work on the formation of interethnic tolerance in senior pupils, the preparation of guardians of school Euroclubs) is outlined.
