Este estudio pone el foco de atencion en las mujeres que aparecen en la epigrafia militar de Britannia. A traves del analisis de estas inscripciones tratamos de acercarnos a cuestiones tales como la origo, el estatuto juridico o el papel de la mujer en la esfera de relaciones de los militares romanos. No se debe pasar por alto la visibilizacion de la mujer en la Historia, agente historico y sujeto de estudio junto con el varon.
