In the field of qualitative research, topic analysis is one of the most common analytical methods.It emphasizes the identification, analysis and interpretation of meaning patterns (or “theme”) in qualitative data.Thematic analysis is often understood as a technique or method compared to other methods such as theoretical-based frameworks such as basic theories, discourse analysis and interpretive phenomenological analysis.
