The results on the measurements of dp-elastic scattering cross section at the energy 2 GeV at Internal Target Station at the Nuclotron JINR are reported. The data were obtained for the angular range of 70°–107° in the c.m.s. by using CH2 and C targets. The results are compared with the existing data and with the theoretical calculations based on the relativistic multiple scattering theory.

The feasibility study for the measurements of the polarization observables in the 3He(d,p) 4He reaction for DSS project using a part of the BM@N setup have been performed. Deuteron beam with energy of 1.5 GeV, magnet, 12 stations GEM tracker and TOF wall were used in simulations in order to obtain momentum resolution and to prove the separation of the secondary protons and deuterons. Summarized results of the dp breakup reactions with detection of two protons in coincidence for some kinematic configurations at energies from 300 to 500 MeV obtained in Nuclotron are presented.

Calibration procedure of the ΔE–E detectors for dp breakup investigation at nuclotron

M. Janek; V. P. Ladygin; S. M. Piyadin; Yu. V. Gurchin; A. Yu. Isupov; J.-T. Karachuk; A. N. Khrenov; A. K. Kurilkin; P. K. Kurilkin; A. N. Livanov; G. Martinska; S. G. Reznikov; G. Tarjanyiova; A. A. Terekhin

Calibration procedure of ΔE − E detectors used in dp breakup reaction measurement in the framework of DSS project is discussed. Time information from all PMTs along with amplitude information and known energy values of pp quasi elastic reaction are used to find calibration coefficients for ΔE and E detectors. Calibration coefficients are used to recover deposited particle energies. ΔE vs. E plots, energies and missing mass spectra are compared with geant4 Monte Carlo simulation. Missing mass for particular physical configuration is calculated as a test of the calibration procedure quality.
