n in the energy range 3–30 GeV are presented in this paper. Spark chamber detector with Al filters has been exposed to the wide-band neutrino and antineutrino beams at Serpukhov. Neutrino and antineutrino data have been used to reconstruct the behaviour of axial-vector form-factorFA(Q2). We measured the total cross-sections as a function of energy. The parameterMA=(1.00±0.04) GeV/c2 has been determined under the assumption of the dipole parametrization and CVC hypothesis. Upper limit for the second class currents was estimated.

Abstract Results of a search for prompt neutrinos in a beam-dump experiment with 70 GeV protons are reported. The observed rate is ν pr / π = (2.7 ± 2.2) × 10 −5 for mean neutrino energy 〈 E ν 〉 ≈ 5 GeV. An estimation on charmed meson production as a possible source of prompt neutrinos is given. Production rate of the axion relative to π 0 mesons is found to be less than 6 × 10 −9 (95% C . L .).

Abstract The methods to measure muon flux distributions in the muon filter of the IHEP neutrino beam are described. The construction and characteristics of the ionization chambers used as muon detectors are given. The detectors allow one to measure the muon fluxes with density from ⪆ 10 7 down to ∼10 2 muons/cm 2 at ∼3 μs pulse duration. The system provides both monitoring of the neutrino beam and measuring of the total muon fluxes for neutrino spectrum reconstruction. The detector sensitivity was constant within the limits of 2–3% during a one-year period of operation in the neutrino beam.

Abstract A search for dimuons produced in a spark chamber experiment in neutrino and antineutrino beams of the Serpukhov accelerator is reported. The clear dimuon signal has been observed in vN interactions. R v = N (2 ω )/ N (1 ω )⩾ (6.2 ± 1.7) × 10 −3 in the energy interval 7.5 ÷ 30 GeV. From antineutrino data we conclude that in the same energy range R v ⩽ 1.1. × 10 −2 (90% C.L.) .
