One of basic system services that an electricity transmission system operator guarantees is power balance maintenance. The aim of this service is to keep power export/import to/from surrounding interconnected electricity transmission systems at a proposed value. The power quantity is a random variable. Therefore, a control strategy of the quantity consists in keeping amplitudes of a power balance deviation in specified boundaries. The operator uses so called ancillary services for this purpose. In order to verify that power reserves of particular ancillary services are large enough for guaranteeing reliable operation of the electricity transmission system a Monte-Carlo simulator has been developed and implemented. The simulator models dynamical behavior of the system under the power reserves constraints.

One of basic system services that an electricity transmission system operator guarantees is power balance maintenance. The aim of this service is to keep power export/import to/from surrounding interconnected electricity systems at a proposed value. This implies that the amplitude of a power balance deviation has to be kept in specified boundaries. The operator uses so called ancillary services for this purpose. In order to perform the overall volume and structure optimization of the ancillary services it is needed to know the magnitude and dynamics of the deviation that will be decayed. For this reason a deviation balance model has been designed and is presented in the paper. It describes electricity transmission system operation

Abstract Stabilization (control system design) is one of fundamental areas investigated in the system theory and many articles have already been dedicated to it in technical literature. The paper deals with a stabilization method for a certain class of non-linear systems. Non-linear systems belonged to the considered class have (after performed approximative linearization) some poles on the imagine axis which are uncontrollable. As the theoretical base of the approach presented in the paper the Center manifold theory (which enables us to solve the stabilization problem) has been chosen.

Abstract In this paper is presented method of the synthesis of non-linear observer. This method is based on transformation to the so called Generalized canonical form of dissipation (GCFD) and consequentially choice of error system. The observer is product its method.
