Volvulus du sigmoïde, une complication rare de la grossesse

Sigmoid volvulus complicating pregnancy is a rare complication with less than 80 cases reported in literature. We report the case of a young pregnant woman, admitted for sigmoid volvulus. The sigmoid volvulus was resected and Bouilly-Volkmanns colostomy was performed. According to this case and depending on the literature, the authors discuss the diagnostic and therapeutic modalities proposed for this rare entity.

Unusual localization of hydatidosis: Hydatid cyst of gallbladder

The case of a 38-year-old man suffering from hydatid cyst located in the gallbladder is presented. Although Morocco remains an endemic area for echinococcosis, this presentation of the disease is rare. Pericyst was tightly attached to the liver. Complete pericystectomy followed by cholecystectomy was done. Histopathology confirmed the presence of calcified hydatid cyst of the gallbladder. Perioperative adjuvant medical therapy with albendazole was administered. In a 2-year follow-up, no recurrence has occurred.

Calcified liver hydatid cyst compressing the gall bladder.

A 48-year-old male patient was admitted to suffering from hydatid disease located in the gall bladder. Although Morocco remains an endemic area for echinococcosis, this presentation of the disease was rare. The pericyst was tightly attached to the liver. A giant abdominal well differentiated Liposarcoma: A rare etiology of abdominal mass

Liposarcoma is the most common retroperitoneal sarcoma and represents more than 15% of all sarcomas. Well differentiated liposarcoma is usually located in the extremities. We report the case of a patient with a giant retroperitoneal liposarcoma revealed by an abdominal mass.
