This paper shows that nanostructuring in colloidal solutions at room temperature can be used to obtain various polymorphic forms of Mg phthalocyanine, including the X form. The latter is promising for practical use as an organic semiconductor having high photoelectric sensitivity in the visible and near-IR regions.

The sensitization of the photoconductivity of C60 fullerene polycrystals by adsorbed molecules of organic dyes with the long-wavelength edge at up to 1300 nm is established. It is shown that the adsorption of dye molecules causes the sensitization associated with the formation of charge transfer complexes fullerene-sensitizer (in the region near 700 nm) and with the adsorbed dye (in the region from 800 to 1300 nm).

Some specific features of the absorption, luminescence, and internal photoelectric effect spectra of nanocrystals of Mg phthalocyanine of the β and X aggregate forms obtained by crystallization from molecular solutions of Mg phthalocyanine are revealed and studied. The complex structure of the spectra of the crystalline forms is attributed to the simultaneous presence of both crystalline phases and the molecular phase of Mg phthalocyanine in the samples. Comparison of the absorption and luminescence spectra is an effective diagnostic tool for optimization of the methods of preparation of single-phase Mg-phthalocyanine objects. Similar results were also observed in the spectroscopic study of other metal phthalocyanine derivatives.

This paper shows that two-layer generation layers consisting of crystalline layers of the amodification of phthalocyanine?thionol, sublimated in vacuum, on which electroadsorption layers of amorphous Se are deposited by sublimation in vacuum, are promising for inverse highsensitivity and high-resolution photoreceptors of modern color electrophotographic systems.

This paper shows that nanocomposites consisting of nanocrystals of organic semiconductors (the dyes Mg phthalocyanine and thioindigo red) and inorganic semiconductors (CdS), introduced in high concentrations into a polymeric matrix (polycarbonate), possess substantially higher photostability than molecular solutions of organic dyes in a polymeric matrix and are therefore promising materials for colored optical filters.

This paper shows that nanoparticles of Mg phthalocyanine synthesized in colloidal solution can be extracted from it and can be introduced into a polycarbonate matrix. The solid polymeric matrix plays the role of a stabilizer of the nanoparticles?it prevents them from recrystallizing and coagulating and maintains the form of aggregation that the nanoparticles acquired when they were synthesized in colloidal solution.

New photothermoplastic material was made by solved together of three problems: to provide registering material with record high-sensitivity and high-resolution, to provide for inner rastering, to develop the transformation of the phase image to the amplitude one.
