Key to Dictyochaeta and Codinaea species

Sixty-nine species of Dictyochaeta and Codinaea have hitherto been described. In the present paper, a key to the 59 species described in or transferred to Dictyochaeta and the 10 species that still remain in Codinaea is provided.

Eight new species of Dictyochaeta (Hyphomycetes) from Malaysia

Dictyochaeta gyrosetula sp. nov., D. pluriguttulata sp. nov., D. sampahia sp. nov., D. subfuscospora sp. nov., D. stipitocolla sp. nov., D. tumidoseta sp. nov., D. variabilis sp. nov. and D. vittata sp. nov. on decaying plant litter are described as new additions to Dictyochaeta. The relationships of each taxon are discussed.

Three new and several interesting species of Sporidesmiella from submerged litter in Malaysia

Sporidesmiella aspera sp. nov., S. claviformis, S. cornuta sp. nov., S. hyalosperma var. hyalosperma, S. incrassata sp. nov. and S. parva var. palauensis isolated from decaying litter submerged in freshwater streams in Malaysia are described and compared with other species in the genus. The genus is reported for the first time in Malaysia.

Two new species of Spadicoides from Malaysia

Spadicoides cuneata sp. nov. and S. obclavata sp. nov. occurring on decaying leaf litter in Malaysia are described and compared with related species in the genus. A key to accepted species is provided.

Dictyochaeta guadalcanalensis comb. nov. and several new records of the genus in Malaysia

The genus Phialogeniculata is reduced to synonymy with Dictyochaeta and the type species P. guadalcanalensis is transferred to Dictyochaeta. Dictyochaeta assamica, D. cylindrospora, D. fertilis, D. longispora, D. lunulospora , the Dictyochaeta anamorph of Chaetosphaeria pulchriseta and D. simplex are described as new records for Malaysia.

Dictyochaeta hamata and D. pahangensis, two new species with lateral phialides

Dictyochaeta hamata sp. nov. and D. pahangensis sp. nov. isolated from decaying submerged leaf litter in Malaysia are illustrated described and compared with other species of Dictyochaeta/Codinaea with lateral phialides. Codinaea gonytrichoides is transferred to Dictyochaeta and Codinaeopsis gonytrichoides is reduced to synonymy.

Henicospora longissima sp. nov., Obeliospora triappendiculata sp. nov., Paraulocladium fabisporum sp. nov. and other hyphomycetes from Malaysia

Henicospora longissima sp. nov., Obeliospora triappendiculata sp. nov. and Paraulocladium fabisporum sp. nov. isolated from decaying litter submerged in a freshwater stream are described and compared with related taxa. Exserticlava triseptata, E. vasiformis, Helicoubisia coronata, Kostermansinda magna, and Scutisporus brunneus are described as new records for Malaysia.

Paracryptophiale kamaruddinii gen. et sp. nov. from submerged litter in Malaysia

A new anamorph genus and species, Paracryptophiale kamaruddinii isolated from decaying litter submerged in a freshwater stream in Malaysia is described and compared with related taxa.

Cryptophialoidea fasciculata sp. nov. and C. manifesta comb. nov. from Malaysia

Cryptophialoidea fasciculata sp. nov. isolated from decaying litter submerged in a freshwater stream in Malaysia is described and illustrated. Cryptophiale manifesta is transferred to Cryptophialoidea .

Polytretophora dendroidea sp. nov. and P. calcarata (Hyphomycetes) from Malaysia

Polytretophora dendroidea sp. nov. and P. calcarata occurring on decaying aerial parts of palms and rattans in Malaysia are described and illustrated. The generic limits of Polytretophora are emended to include species with branched conidiophores.
