TWO LOOP CALCULATIONS IN THE LARGE QUARK MASS EXPANSION IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE QCD SUM RULES METHOD

K.G. Chetyrkin; V. Ilyin; Vladimir A. Smirnov; A. Yu. Taranov

Abstract The coefficient function (CF) of the operator G 2 = G μv a G aμv in the large quark mass expansion of the correlator of two vector currents is calculated in the two-loop approximation. The obtained results show, in particular, that α s 2 -corrections to this CF are reasonably small and can hardly reduce the disagreement between the values of the corresponding condensate 〈 G 2 〉 0 found in different approaches.

PC implementation of fast Dirac matrix trace calculations

V. Ilyin; Alexey P Kryukov; A. Ya. Rodionov; A. Yu. Taranov

We present an implementation of fast algorithm for Dirac matrix trace calculations. This implementation is made for IBM compatible PC and works under REDUCE 3.3.1. Name of package is CVIT. The algorithm itself was described in [I]. It is based on intense use of Fierz identities in N-dimensional space (N is arbitrary natural number or symbol) and maybe considered as an extension of well known Kahane algorithm [2] on higher space dimensions.

For the case of a charged scalar field described by a quadratic Hamiltonian, an equivalent relativistic quantum mechanics in the single-particle sector is constructed. The motion of a charged relativistic particle in a Coulomb field is completely investigated.
