Weather forecasting has gained attention many researchers from various research communities due to its effect to the global human life. The emerging deep learning techniques in the last decade coupled with the wide availability of massive weather observation data and the advent of information and computer technology have motivated many researches to explore hidden hierarchical pattern in the large volume of weather dataset for weather forecasting. This study investigates deep learning techniques for weather forecasting. In particular, this study will compare prediction performance of Recurrence Neural Network (RNN), Conditional Restricted Boltzmann Machine (CRBM), and Convolutional Network (CN) models. Those models are tested using weather dataset provided by BMKG (Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics) which are collected from a number of weather stations in Aceh area from 1973 to 2009 and El-Nino Southern Oscilation (ENSO) data set provided by International Institution such as National Weather Service Center for Environmental Prediction Climate (NOAA). Forecasting accuracy of each model is evaluated using Frobenius norm. The result of this study expected to contribute to weather forecasting for wide application domains including flight navigation to agriculture and tourism.

This paper presents a recurrent optimized heuristic Artificial Neural Network (ANN) uses Recurrent Elman Gradient Descent Adaptive Learning Rate and Momentum method with various parameter values. The values is approached by using El-Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) variable, which are Southern Oscillation Index (SOI), Wind, Outgoing Long Wave Radiation (OLR), and Sea Surface Temperature (SST) to forecast regional monthly rainfall in Bongan Bali. The data sets used in this paper are separated by two groups. First group of data has training data and testing data which is 75% and 25% respectively. The latter group of data consists of 50% training data and 50% testing data. First data group produces the maximum R2 leap 74.6% and the latter produces the maximum R2 leap 49.8%.

Death of effect disease Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Jakarta is high. To diagnosis patient of DHF, also render help immediately, and prevent death. Expert system can be used for the diagnosis of DHF. This research is conducted by the model system of Neuro-Fuzzy. One of them is ANFIS for conducting the diagnosis and medical procedure of DHF. Sample of research consist patient data suffering from DHF and dengue fever (DF), 32 cases of DHF and 32 cases of DF. Examination of model is conducted by some phase with data before and after verification. The examination of the model consists of amount and type of membership function. The conclusion of this research is ANFIS can be used selectively for conduct diagnosis of disease of DHF and can be used better if fulfilled minimum condition according to regulation which have been known such as haemorrhage manifestation and finding of fever. Model use the type of membership function of Gaussian yield accuracy 86,67 %, type of trapezoid yield accuracy 40 %, type of bells yield accuracy 40 % and type of triangular yield accuracy 40 %.

The MPEG Layer-III File or MP3 can contain the ID3v2 tag which able to store information not only the song and singer’s name but also song lyric and alblum cover figure. The steganography technique on audio generally only make use of the main body of the audio file, but has not ever use the part of the ID3v2 to hide an message. This study an steganography technique which make use of this ID3v2 tag space where message is encrypted using McEliece cryptosystem method which applying the public key in the form of matrix then inserted into the MP3 file applying Before All Frames (BAF) method, whereas the public key is inserted into album cover figure which is stored in the ID3v2 tag.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to build the android-based applications for parent to supervise, control and restrict the children in using smartphone and tablet. Design/methodology/approach The method used is the method of analysis, i.e. collect the necessary data. The data is collected from journals, articles, books, questionnaires, and the similar application analysis. Findings Evaluation of existing applications made to perform an evaluation of the user that the GPS tracking feature of the Parental Control Application facilitate searching children location by pointing the spot where they use Android device , the application history feature of The Parental Control facilitate finding out what application that accessed by children through their Android-based application and the time limit feature of the Parental Control Application facilitate restriction on time that children spend on using Android-based so that they will not be gadget addict. Weather forecasting is an interesting research problem in flight navigation area. One of the important weather data in aviation is visibility. Visibility is an important factor in all phases of flight, especially when the aircraft is maneuvering on or close to the ground, i.e., during taxi-out, take-off and initial climb, approach and landing and taxi-in. The aim of these study is to analyze intermediate variables and do the comparison of visibility forecasting by using Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) Model. This paper proposes ARIMA model and LSTM model for forecasting visibility at Hang Nadim Airport, Batam Indonesia using one variable weather data as predictor such as visibility and combine with another variable weather data as moderating variables such as temperature, dew point and humidity. The models were tested using weather time series data at Hang Nadim Airport, Batam Indonesia. This research compares the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) resulted by LTSM model with the RMSE resulted by ARIMA model. The results of this experiment show that LSTM model with/or without intermediate variable has better performance than ARIMA Model.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to build an iOS-based application to provide quick and easy access to information on food and beverages that are tailored to an illness. Design/methodology/approach The method used is the method of analysis, i.e. collect the necessary data from various sources that contain the issues to be examined. Software development life cycle used the Waterfall Model that has seven stages to its completion: the requirements analysis and specification, architectural design, detailed design, coding, unit testing, integration testing and system testing and acceptance. Findings Existing applications were evaluated from the user point of view. The evaluation was performed by 25 users trying directly on the application. After conducting experiments on the application, users were asked to answera questionnaire that included questions on the problems they may have faced and whether the problem was solved. The results of user evaluation were as follows: 72 per cent of users found that the application view is quite good and 88 per cent of users felt the speed and ease of getting enough information. Originality/value The authors report that the development of the application reference, menu of healthy food on the IOS platform, can make users get a healthy diet and abortion based on the illness quickly and easily.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to develop and evaluate a mobile educational application that supports fun learning for children. This paper describes an educational game application “Laut ABC”, which is an Android-based app that aims to be a learning tool with an attractive design that would help children learn alphabets. The results show that educational game app “Laut ABC” is a effective learning tool and can be used as an alternative for learning alphabets using an interesting and fun-learning concept. Design/methodology/approach Research methods include methods of data collection, design and implementation. Data collection was done through research literature, interviews and questionnaires and analyzing some similar applications. Designing game application using storyboard and implementation was the done using the waterfall model for the software development life cycle. Findings Most respondents stated that the introduction of alphabets is important for young children. They chose uppercase or capital letters to be used in the game. A majority of the respondents answered that the order of writing alphabets is important. These respondents agreed that educational games are a means for children to learn alphabets, as well as learn to write and pronounce alphabets. The application can also provide writing exercises to train childrens’ memory. The usual difficulties parents’ stated were that the children feel tired and are not in the mood to learn, have poor concentration, have difficulty in responding and seem to be disinclined to learn. Most of the parents mentioned that the critical points in children’s applications were the design of the educational application and completeness as a whole. Originality/value The paper reports the development of game’s design —- display, navigation, instruction and feedback. It can be said that the users had no difficulty in playing the game.

Along with the development of information technology in meeting the needs, various adverse actions and difficult to avoid are emerging. One of such action is data theft. Therefore, this study will discuss about cryptography and steganography that aims to overcome these problems. This study will use the Modification Vigenere Cipher, Least Significant Bit and Dictionary Based Compression methods. To determine the performance of study, Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) method is used to measure objectively and Mean Opinion Score (MOS) method is used to measure subjectively, also, the performance of this study will be compared to other method such as Spread Spectrum and Pixel Value differencing. After comparing, it can be concluded that this study can provide better performance when compared to other methods (Spread Spectrum and Pixel Value Differencing) and has a range of MSE values (0.0191622-0.05275) and PSNR (60.909 to 65.306) with a hidden file size of 18 kb and has a MOS value range (4.214 to 4.722) or ...

Investments in foreign exchange (forex) promise lucrative profits, thus inviting a lot of attention fo r researcher sand traders to create a system or indicator in tra ding. All indicators or system is reliable and has proven hat can bring profit for traders. Basically all indicator a re reliable and tested which able to bring some pro fit to traders. Ironically there are many trader fail to gain the p rofit and became bankrupt. It because they has no well money management and good mentality in trading. Therefore in this study is focused on technical analysis by using weighted moving average which will be implemented on the mobile device so that it can give predictions on the price of the EURO-USD currency pair. The results is the weighted moving average was not quite accurate in determining the price of a currency esp ecially during sideways price but it so accurate wh en they have strong price trend or large-scale. weighted mo ving average becomes really easy to apply when usin g 2 or more weighted moving average and able to give facility in analyzing movement of currency with the counterpart of EURO-USD by means of mobile medium.
