Process Assessment of Risks in the Production Company with the Use of Linguistic Variables and the FMEA Analysis

Agnieszka Tubis

The paper focused on the process approach to risk assessment in the production company from the SME. Based on the literature review, there was prepared a proposal of the analytical procedure, taking into account the holistic approach to identifying risks in the enterprise. There was distinguished the three main areas of analysis: the workflow organization together with information flows in the production process, maintenance of technical infrastructure and processes performance within the automotive supply chain. Based on the proposed method of risk assessment, there was conducted an analytical procedure in a selected production company, which is currently under development phase.

The Use of Linguistic Variables and the FMEA Analysis in Risk Assessment in Inland Navigation

Emilia Skupień; Agnieszka Tubis

The paper continues the study of the same authors, who previously proposed a method of risk assessment in inland navigation. In the literature there is a gap in the research area of a risk management of transportation systems, especially: inland navigation. The authors carried out interdisciplinary research and presented the results related to the identification of risk factors present in the systems of inland navigation. The paper presents inland navigation risk analysis, conducted using the linguistic variables and the FMEA method, taking into account technical, economic and social aspects. The aim of the article is to present a procedure for the assessment of risk in inland waterways transport, and carry out risk analysis for transport companies. In paper the proposal of behavior scenarios, methods of preventing and minimizing effects of pointed risks are shown. http://www.transnav.eu the International Journal on Marine Navigation and Safety of Sea Transportation Volume 12

ISO 55001 and difficulties of its implementation in polish enterprises

Tomasz Nowakowski; Agnieszka Tubis; Sylwia Werbińska-Wojciechowska

Abstract In the presented paper, authors focus on the issues related to asset management in enterprises. The aim of the article is to present the requirements and standards defined in ISO 55001. Thus, there are presented the basic definitions related to the research area. Later, there are discussed the main guidelines set out in the standard, with taking into consideration e.g. asset management system structure. Moreover, there are defined the basic procedural steps in the process of ISO 55001 standard implementation in enterprises. This gives the possibility for the analysis of ISO 55001 standard possibilities of implementation in Polish enterprises. The article concludes with a summary.

The Issue of Analyzing Measurement Data of Driving Speed in Large Urban Areas

Emilia Skupień; Agnieszka Tubis

The measurement of speed is the subject of analysis and publication of many researchers around the world. This issue is analyzed from the point of view of movement engineering, urban planning, logistics, but also the city management. The researches, initiated by the authors in this paper, are focused on measuring the time of vehicle journeys on the selected section of one of the main streets of Wroclaw. The aim of the chapter is to present the issues related to the analysis of measurement data from the ITS, which are aimed at supporting decision-making processes of those responsible for organizing transport in the city. For this purpose, the authors presented the basic theoretical issues of the study area and the approximate principles of operation of ITS systems. Then on the basis of quantitative analysis, the authors characterized the difficulties that may be encountered while drawing conclusions from the analysis of the collected data.

The selected aspects of transport services punctuality measurement rated by the carrier and passengers / Wybrane aspekty pomiaru punktualności przewozów przez przewoźnika i pasażerów

Krzysztof Bojda; Agnieszka Tubis

Abstract The quality of public transport plays an increasingly important role in overall quality of life assessment in metropolitan areas. The punctuality of departures is classified as one of the primary criteria for passengers, public transport authorities and carriers. The paper presents the problem of measuring the punctuality of services in view of assessing by different participants of the transportation process. The literature references were discussed pointing out the most commonly used measures for punctuality assessment and relevance to travel-time reliability. The analytic tool designed for transport operator was described, which provides detailed analysis based on data registered during the transport services execution. The information support model for the transport system operation process was referred, which utilizes the available archive timetable execution data to provide the optimized routes based on passengers’ query. The importance of reliability assessment was highlighted for the interchanges being performed along the journey.
