Objectives To determine the frequency of the demand of radiopelvimetry in pregnant women and to assess the obstetrical prognosis. Methods Retrospective study about 19 months, including a total of 45 pregnant women who underwent scanopelvimetry to evaluate the biometry of the pelvis. Scanopelvimetry was performed from 36th week of pregnancy. Results The average age of the patients was 26.9 years. The frequency of the demand of scanopelvimetry was 0.97%. The height of the patients was greater than 150 cm in 84.44%. The indications of radiopelvimetry were dominated by the clinical suspicion of pelvic narrowing (57.78%), followed by the cephalopelvic confrontation (33.33%) and the cicatricial uterus (8.89%). Narrowed pelvis was observed in 28.89% of cases (13/45), with a Magnin index of less than 21. A caesarean section during labor was performed in 24.44% of the cases. No death of newborn was reported. Conclusion The frequency of the demand of scanopelvimetry is low but the rate of surgical pelvis is high among suspect cases.

INTRODUCTION Transcranial Doppler is an effective diagnostic tool to detect sickle cell children at risk for stroke. METHODS We conducted a cross-sectional descriptive study of Malagasy children aged between 24 months and 15 years (group 1: 57 sickle cell diseases, group 2: 43 controls) to assess the cerebral artery velocimetry in the patient population. Transcranial doppler ultrasound with analysis of cerebral blood flow was performed in children of both groups. RESULTS In subjects with sickle cell disease, the mean velocity (MV) in the middle cerebral artery was 100.9 ± 26.8 cm/s, pulsatility index (PI) was 0.73 ± 0.20, the difference between the right and left middle cerebral artery (MCA) was 19.8 ± 21.5 cm/s, anterior cerebral artery/middle cerebral artery flow velocity ratio (ACA / MCA) was 0.7 ± 0.2. In children without sickle cell disease, MV: 80.6 ± 19.3 cm/s, IP: 0.79 ± 0.14, ACMr: 17 ± 20.1 cm/s, ACA/ACM: 0,8 ± 0,2. The velocity in children with sickle cell disease was higher than in the control group. Velocities were correlated with hemoglobin and age but not with sex and mean corpuscular volume. CONCLUSION Cerebral Circulation Speeds are higher in children with sickle cell disease and are influenced by hemoglobin levels and age.

Renal lymphatic fistulas are rare and, in most cases, of parasitic origin. We report a case of a reversible uro-lymphatic fistula, which was demonstrated by CT and was felt to be secondary to a radiolucent calculus.

The solitary intraperitoneal fibrous tumor is a rare lesion, almost exclusively benign. We report on three cases with different ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging findings, related to the fibrous and/or cellular histological composition of the tumor. Because of the minimal, but real, possibility of a recurrence after the surgical intervention, a follow-up by radiological imaging is recommended.
