Crystal and molecular structures of bis[2-(2-benzoxazolyl)phenol-N]dichloropalladium(II)

Abstract The crystal and molecular structure of bis[2-(2-benzoxazolyl)phenol-N]dichloropalladium(II), was determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The palladium atom is at the symmetry centre in a square-planar geometry, where two 2-(2-benzoxazolyl)phenol (Hbxp) molecules are coordinated with their N atoms as unidentate ligands in the trans position.

Metal complexes of 1-(2-thenyl)methyl-2-(2-thenyl)benzimidazole and of N,N′-1,2-phenylenebis(2-thenylideneimine)

Abstract Some bivalent metal complexes of 1-(2-thenyl)methyl-2-(2-thenyl)benzimidazole(TMTBI) of the general formula M(TMTBI)2X2 = M=Co, Cu, Zn, Cd or Hr and X=Cl− or I− and copper complex of N,N′-1,2-phenylenebis(2-thenylideneimine) (PTI), Cu(PTI)2ClO4 are prepared. M(TMTBI)2X2 are found to be nonelectrolytes in nitrobenzene. Magnetic susceptibilities and i.r., electronic and NMR spectra are reported.
