良好な乗心地の確保のため, 浮上式鉄道のガイドウェイは高い精度で施工されなければならない. 本論文では, 単位施工長, 走行速度および車両の振動特性から定まる「乗心地影響係数」を用いてガイドウェイの施工精度とガイドウェイ狂いのパワースペクトル密度および乗心地レベルとの関係を定式化し, ガイドウェイ狂いの特性について言及した. また, この関係式をもとに乗心地レベルを考慮した施工精度の決定方法を提案する.

浮上式鉄道の連接方式5両編成列車の車両運動数値解析モデルを用いて, 橋梁や高架橋の設計許容変位を求めた. 構造物に変位を与えたガイドウェイを走行する浮上式鉄道車両の動的応答解析を行い, 乗り心地および走行安全性の観点からその結果を評価し, 浮上式鉄道の構造物を設計する際に必要となる桁の許容たわみ量と許容不同変位量を提案した.
